Man or Mouse?

Australians were duped into making Kevin Rudd the nation's prime minster, according to the wife of former treasurer Peter Costello.

In an exclusive interview with 60 Minutes, Tanya Costello said she believed Labor would have been quashed during last year's election if her husband had been given a chance as prime minister.

"I think Australians had been duped and that they voted in someone because they wanted to get rid of someone else," Mrs Costello said.

"If they’d had a chance to see Peter, they may not have voted for the new prime minister."

Mr Costello also revealed there was at least "five or six times" when former prime minister John Howard looked set to surrender the leadership of the Liberals, but backed down.

"On each occasion there was a reason why he didn't do it," Mr Costello said.

"I told him it should be done [but] he didn't agree with me.

"He didn't accept it."

What a piece of chicken shite coward this man is. He will go to his death bed whinging he "could've been the Prime Minister".

Uh, no; actually you could not have done that job. That job requires, guts, courage, effort, and the balls to walk the walk, not just talk the talk.

It takes a man with ticker to challenge the present Leader, and mate, you never, ever had it.

Shut up.

Kevin Rudds no bloody leader. I'll agree with you about Costello had he had the balls he would have made an excellent Prime Minister but not now. Kevin Rudd though, he's a one hit wonder who if the Liberals can get their act together will be out come the next election.
