PARAMEDICS have administered a second dose of antivenom to a man fighting for his life after he was bitten by a death adder.

The 50-year-old holidaymaker, from Schofields in Sydney's northwest, was attacked when he picked the snake up in the dark last night, thinking it was a lizard.Could you tell them apart?

What I've learned: Don't touch ANYTHING day or night!!

There's no way I would have been able to tell the difference, that poor man!
