AIRLINES are warning staff, passengers and visitors to take the train to Brisbane Airport when the world's biggest passenger jet arrives tomorrow to help Qantas celebrate its 85th birthday.

Officials are predicting that up to 100,000 people will try to see the Airbus A380, which is due to land at 8am.

It will go into a hangar where Qantas decals will be applied and will take off at 6am on Sunday for Sydney and Melbourne calls before landing back in Brisbane on Tuesday at 10am. It will fly out on Wednesday at 2pm.

I heard that after the Qantas party, they then put Singapore Airlines and fly to Singapore for a party there, veddy clever.
