The Opposition Leader & Mrs Carr

This whole Brogden affair has taken a new twist. OK he resigned for making an inexcusable remark about the outgoing Premier Bob Carrs wife, calling her a mail order bride and for some innapropriate behaviour to some other ladies . But interestingly enough a phone poll conducted by A Current Affair on Monday night and the results published on Tuesday night were that 70% of those who phoned in said that he shouldn't have resigned regardless of his remarks or behaviour. What does that tell us of the changing view of society in general ?
