Tandy update

G'day Patty,
Talked to Tandy today, she said that they are going to check her foot for more infection today. She has a new Doctor seeing her, that she feels that she can trust over her other doctors. Also she has accepted the fact that she has to do what the doctors tell her to do, so that she can get better.

Tandy update

I visited Tandy on Saturday, brought her some flowers and a get well card. Told her that you wished her a speedy recovery.

They found a pocket of puss and drained it Saturday night. Also they found that she has a staph infection, which they are treating. Their waiting to see if thing improve, if not they may have to remove more of the foot, if not the leg. Naturally that news upset Tandy, which caused her to yell at the doctors. I hope the infection will clear up for her sake.

Tandy in hospital

FYI,

Tandy is in the Hospital with an infection in her foot. They had to amputate her right little toe last night (Thursday 15/1/09). She will be there for a minimum of 4 days. Her room phone number is 206-386-6931.

She is a Diabetic (20 years I think she said). She is lucky that it was her little toe, could have been worse.
