My ramble

After listening to Malcolm Turnbull on ABC world news today talking about the Kyoto target. I have come to the conclusion that the affluent will not be drinking the effluent; after all they are already full of it. “Kyoto is a flawed agreement. Everyone accepts that," he said.

"You are not going to reduce global greenhouse gas emissions without a global agreement.

"Kyoto only includes one third of the world's emitters. Now whether we sign Kyoto or not, it is not going to change whether we meet our Kyoto target because we're going to meet it - we're on track to meet it."

If this is true, why not sign it? Is it cases of you go first then we will follow. Mums and Dad will understand this attitude. Try telling the kids to clean the lounge and the normal reply is’ it’s not all my mess. Why should I start cleaning first?
