Peter's big Qld adventure
Frodo's baby - what shall we call her?

Ok people, pay attention! We need to name our little bird, as she will soon be stretching those wings, and another year will be over.
Greg (Falcon expert) is fairly certain she is a girly, rather than a boy...
Some readers suggestions from the Courier Mail....
Another name that has come up is Dolly (something to do with the enlarged crop after a feed ... ) What the!
One group in Cleveland calls her Hope.
Somewhere in Europe she's called Aussie.
Someone else has called her Squishy.
Over to you now, put on your creative hats and start thinking.
Any suggestions?

Looks worse than it is
So yesterday Mum says to me, "you'll have to tidy yourself up before you go into hospital, tidy the beard up and get a haircut". I'm thinking why, I doubt the surgeons going to be worried if i look a bit scruffy i'm going to look just as scruffy after the op with tubes in my mouth down my throat and in my nose hair uncombed and unshaven. So to keep the peace, I did this on the spur of the moment. The haircut will come in the next few days. The things we do for our mothers
I need Help with something

Ok, I need a hand here….I entered a Canon photo comp…Prize is a Canon EOS40D with all accessories $5,000 worth.…only 2,500 people in it
What they have given us all is a Box with 4 smaller boxes inside….each box containing a different item.
Items are 1. The boxes
2. A balloon
3. dots
4. Cellophane
5. Piece of chalk
There are five different competitions, but you can only use one of the items in each competition.
This is where it is hard…I need ideas for what I am going to use them in a photo of.
To give you an idea of the size of them…The main outer box is only 100mm square.
I was thinking of using the yellow dots to be a crash test dummy in an old car wreck…..help me please I only have till the 15th November to submit photos.

Crazy John Dies
Crazy John's founder John Ilhan has died of a suspected heart attack at the age of 42.
Mr Ilhan collapsed on his morning walk at around 5:30am.
“This is a tragic day. John was an inspiration to everyone who ever knew or worked with him," said Brendan Fleiter, Crazy John’s Managing Director.
"He grew a business from nothing to become the biggest independent mobile phone retailer in Australia. John was always a big thinker, the difference was he always achieved what he said he would do."
I just watched a good story on him last friday...life sure is odd
