Australia behind in internet speed

AUSTRALIA looks set to fall behind most of the western world with fast Internet provision following a breakdown in talks between Telstra and the nation's competition watchdog.

Telstra and the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission today discontinued long running talks over the telco's proposal to build out a $4 billion fibre-to-the-node broadband network. More here....

that's not suprising we do lot of amazing things here in Australia find medical cures invent things that go on to take on the world but one thing we seem to is forward thinking we are always 5 to 10 years behind the rest of the world in certain things.
