When we went to America, I loved it, the culture is so familiar, as we have all been brought up on it. The people were very perky (only word I can use to describe them, so forcefully cheerful) but the food was shite. Hey, you get shite food everywhere. My point was more the passive acceptance of murder, wars, killings etc.
The singing of the usa anthem
“And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Their blood has washed out their foul footsteps' pollution.
No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave:"

The new President will be very interesting either way I think. Either a young black man, or a woman, anyone really as long as it aint Bush, lol.

There are a lot of great things a bout America, but they unshaken belief that they are the best country in the world doesn't hold much with me. I am not saying Australia is any better, I just dislike the constant rubbing my face in their glee bit.

They need welfare, better education, better health services, and oh yes, prolly 7 million new homes for the poor bastards that over extended themselves financially.Beecham Motorshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03685002483855010916noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16013027.post-55734221675224752007-12-10T10:53:00.000+10:002007-12-10T10:53:00.000+10:00Maybe it should but very few countries have compul...Maybe it should but very few countries have compulsary voting.
